House rules
CloseFolks is a place for family and friends. Keep it the kind of place you'd be glad to have your grandmother and your grandkids read.
- Be kind. Disagree if you like, but no insults, bullying or threats.
- No vulgar or hateful language. No slurs, and no attacks on anyone for their race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or where they come from.
- No sexual content. No nudity or sexual photos or videos, and no links to adult websites.
- Share only what's yours to share. Ask before posting photos of other people, especially children.
- No spam or selling. CloseFolks isn't for ads, chain letters or schemes.
How the rules are kept
- Posts are checked automatically for offensive language, links to adult sites and explicit photos. Some photos wait for a quick review before others can see them.
- Anyone can tap Report on a post, reply or moment. Reports go to the person who runs CloseFolks, who sees only what was reported.
- Group moderators look after their own groups and can remove posts, replies or members.
- People who break the rules can be suspended.
